Accessing SRM batch reports online

Use the following procedure to access SRM batch reports online.
  1. From the Batch Reporting menu, select SRM Batch Reports to advance to the BATCHRPT view.

    The BATCHRPT view lists member names and report verb names from which you can choose.

  2. Perform one of the following actions:
    • Type a line command in the CMD column next to the row that contains the batch report member, and press Enter.

      The following table lists the available line commands:

      Opens ISPF browse session for member

      D – Detail view

      Displays the detailed view in vertical format

      E – Edit member

      Opens ISPF edit session for member

      N – Create new member

      Creates a new member by using the selected member as template

    • Hyperlink from the Member Name to advance to the AutoJCL EZcmd Menu, and select the desired command.

      The member containing the sample JCL is displayed as shown in the following figure.

  3. Follow the instructions to customize the sample report JCL to site specifications, build the JCL, and submit the job.

    The members can be altered as required and, when saved, will be saved into the first data set within the UBBSLIB concatenation (if edited by using the EDIT command within MainView SRM).

    Tip

    Make sure that the first data set in the concatenation is ?prefix.UBBSLIB so that you do not overlay the JCL that is supplied at installation.
