Sample data SRDs
BMC Service Request Management 8.1.00 ships with sample data that you can install to speed up implementation. The sample data includes examples that you can use to create your own service request definitions (SRDs) and application templates for Work Order Management, Incident Management, Change Management, and Release Management. You can use the templates for Incident Management, Change Management, and Release Management if you have installed the BMC Remedy IT Service Management Suite.
The following table lists the prepackaged SRDs. For information about importing them, see Importing sample data SRDs.

Comments
You can install the Sample SRDs from the SRM installer. However, if you don't and are following the procedure to import afterwards without running the installer again, you don't indicate either here or in the Importing sample data SRDs link where to find the sample files to import.
Can you please add that information either here or on the Importing sample data SRDs page?
In the description you indicate that you can create Service Offerings using the various templates, which is confusing as Service Offerings are created using the Service Catalog launched via the BMC Atrium Core Console. I believe these templates would help you create Service Request Actions.
Thanks for your comment, John. We might not be using the term "service offering" in exactly the same way as CLM or other product documentation, and I'll look into that.
I think the description should say that you can use the sample data as examples to create your own application templates, application object templates (AOTs), and service request definitions (SRDs).
Regards,
Cathy
