Setting your locale and time zone for Smart Reporting

The first time you access the BMC Helix ITSM: Smart Reporting console, you must update the preferred locale.

To update the locale and time zone

  1. Log in to the Smart Reporting console.
  2. Under the user profile, click the Profile Settings
  3. On the User Profile page, under Regional Settings, select your Preferred Language and Time zone.


    Under Regional Settings, you must manually set the locale only. The User Sync utility synchronizes the timezone of the user from the User Preference form of AR System to BMC Helix ITSM: Smart Reporting. If time zone is not available in AR System server, the BMC Helix ITSM: Smart Reporting user picks up the time zone provided at the time of onboarding.

  4. Click Save.
