Printing and exporting reports to other formats

You can export report content to file formats such as DOC, PDF, RTF, XLS, and print.

To export a report from the Output step

  1. On the main navigation bar, click Export.

  2. Select the format to which you want to export.
    If you select, Export to DOCX, Export to PDF, or Export to Text, the file is automatically downloaded.
  3. If you select the Export to PDF option and if the report contains Bosnian characters, configure the following settings before exporting the report to PDF:
    1. Log in to BMC Helix ITSM: Smart Reporting.
    2. In the left navigation pane, select  Administration > Configuration.
    3. In the right pane, click Region.

    4. Click Text Formats.

    5. In the Default Language Font, select Noto Sans.
    6. Click Save.
  4. If you select Print,
    1. Review the output preview.
    2. Click Print.
  5. If you select Export to CSV or Export to XLSX:
    1. On the right side of the panel, select the export settings.
    2. Click Export.

Note

If you export a report that contains multiple charts, the charts are not exported to XLS format. To export the charts, run the following query in the database:

update configuration set configdata = 'FALSE' where configcode = 'USEIMAGECONTEXT';
