Getting started with dashboards

A dashboard is a way to present reports to users in a way that lets them quickly scan all their key metrics without having to open each report individually.

The following video describes how to design a Standard Dashboard tab.

Creating a Dashboard tab

  1. On the Smart Reporting console, from the Create menu, select Dashboard Tab > Standard Tab.

  2. From the Report Search panel on the left, search for a report.

  3. Drag and drop the report that you want to add to your tab.
The chart is displayed on the dashboard tab.

  4. To resize the report, drag the bottom edge.

  5. Click Save.

  6. Enter the required details, and click Activate to save and activate the tab.
    The subcategory is also updated.
The new tab is now published and ready to use.
