Pointing the needle of a meter chart to a specific field value


You can create a report that displays the percentage of SLA Met Incidents and point the meter chart needle to the SLA Met Incidents % value.

  1. Create a report with an Incident Management View. 
    For more information, see Creating-custom-reports-and-charts.
  2. Select the SLM Status and Number of Incidents columns.
  3. Change the Number of Incidents advanced function to the analysis-percentage of the total.

  4. Apply conditional formatting on % Number of Incidents to display SLA Met in green and SLA Breached in red.
  5. Create a meter chart and add % Total Num of Incidents to the Target section.

  6. From the list of available functions, select the Set Analysis function, and drag it to the Measure section of the chart.

  7. Add the following condition:
    Where SLM Status equals to SLA Met.

  8. Refresh the report to see the needle based on the SLA Met data.
