Out-of-the-box Configuration Management reports and dashboard

A user can use the following out-of-the-box Configuration Management reports and dashboard to understand configuration activity within the organization.

Configuration Management reports

Report nameDescription
CI Creation TrendReports the trend of creating CIs.
CIs by ClassLists CIs by class.
CIs by TypeLists CIs by their type.
CMDB - CI PopulationLists the total number of CI's in CMDB.
CMDB - Computer Systems without OS

Lists computer systems with no operating system in CMDB.

CMDB - Duplicate Computer System By SerialLists the duplicate computer systems by serial number.
CMDB - Duplicate Computer System by Token IDLists the duplicate computer systems by token ID.
CMDB - Duplicate Computer System Detailed DrillLists the duplicate computer systems and details.
CMDB - Duplicate Computer Systems By NameLists the names of duplicate computer systems.
CMDB - List of 'Mark As Deleted' CIsLists the count of "Mark As Deleted" CIs in CMDB.
CMDB - List of Orphan CIs in CMDBLists the orphan CIs in CMDB.
CMDB - Orphan CIs Detailed DrillDisplays a detailed drill report of orphan CIs in CMDB.
CMDB - Virtual Machines without HostLists the virtual machines that are not connected to any host.

Configuration Management KPI reports

Report name

Description

Change KPI MeterDisplays the percentage values for Emergency Changes, Unsuccessful Changes, Roll Backed Changes, and Successful Changes against the total number of changes.

Configuration Management KPI dashboard

The Configuration Management dashboard is built with the following configuration:

This dashboard includes a list of reports for Configuration Managers, for example:

  • Duplicate Computer Systems in CMDB
