Quick tour of Remedy Smart Reporting administration

The Administration console contains several panels where the reporting administrator can configure various settings. To see the Administration console, click to open the side panel, and select Administration > Admin Console.

For additional administrative functionality, super administrators can log in to the separate Remedy Smart Reporting Administration Console at http://RemedySmartReportingServerHostName:port/AdminConsole/#.

Data Sources

A list of data source connections currently available in the system. For more information, see Defining a report data source connection and view access.

Users

A searchable list of users in the system. From here, the administrator can add, edit, email, change, import, and delete users. For more information, see Managing Remedy Smart Reporting user accounts.

Roles

A list of roles available in the system and a count of users assigned to each role. From here, the administrator can add, edit, copy, and delete roles. For more information, see Managing Remedy Smart Reporting user roles and groups.

User Groups

A list of user groups currently defined in the system. The administrator can click on the count under Members for a list of users in the group. For more information, see Managing Remedy Smart Reporting user roles and groups.

Content Folders

A list of folders defined in the system to help organize content into categories and subcategories. From here, the administrator can add, edit, or delete folders. For more information, see Setting up content folders.

Reference Codes

A list of org reference codes defined in the system. From here, the administrator can edit an org ref code. For more information, see Using reference codes to convert database values or apply custom sorting.

Storyboard Themes

A list of storyboard themes defined in the system. From here, the administrator can add, edit, copy, or delete a theme. See Storyboard Themes Open link in the Yellowfin documentation.

Content Tags

A list of content tags defined in the system. From here, the administrator can add, edit, view usage, and delete tags. See Content Tags Open link in the Yellowfin documentation.

Data Filter Periods

A list of available date filter periods in the system. From here, the administrator can enable and disable periods from use.

Note: This option is available only to the Remedy Smart Reporting super admin (by default, called siadmin).
