Offboarding users and clearing the database in Remedy Smart Reporting

With the offboarding service provided in the separate Remedy Smart Reporting Administration Console, you can delete users for an existing company. You must complete the database cleanup process after the offboarding process so that any inactive customers or users are hard-deleted from the database.

To offboard a customer

  1. Log in to the Remedy Smart Reporting Administration Console as a Smart Reporting super administrator (siadmin).
    The path to the console is http://RemedySmartReportingServerHostName:port/AdminConsole/#.
  2. On the Home Page, select Services > Offboarding.

    Note:

    The Offboarding tab is enabled only if you have onboarded users in Remedy Smart Reporting.

  3. From the list displayed, select the customers you want to offboard, and click Next.
  4. Follow the offboarding wizard to complete the offboarding process.
    Provide the AR System Server administrator credentials to validate the AR System Server of the customer you are offboarding during the process.
  5. When the offboarding process is complete, select the Cleanup database option on the confirmation page. 

    Note

    You can also access the database cleanup service from the Services menu of the Remedy Smart Reporting Admin Console.

  6. Complete the database cleanup process so that inactive customers and users of the offboarded company are permanently deleted from the Remedy Smart Reporting database.
