Enabling broadcasting


If you need to send report-related updates at regular intervals, you can schedule broadcasts for specific reports.

To set the broadcast schedule for a report, the administrator and report writer must perform the following procedures:

As an administrator, you can manage the scheduled broadcast tasks.

To enable broadcasts on a data source connection

  1. Log in to Remedy Smart Reporting as an administrator.
  2. From the left side panel, select Administration > Admin Console.
  3. Open the Data Sources panel.
  4. Click the connection that is used for creating the report.
  5. On the Connection page, open the Usage Parameters panel.
  6. Enable the Broadcast and Subscribe options.
  7. Click Save.

 

Tip: For faster searching, add an asterisk to the end of your partial query. Example: cert*
