Configuring performance-monitoring data for the Collector

Use the Performance Monitoring tab to view and control the Collector performance monitoring data. The data is displayed in a table format. You can sort the data by clicking on a column heading. The current sort column and sort order are indicated by an arrow in the column heading. After you sort, you can then export the information to Microsoft Excel.

  • Enable or Disable — Allows you to enable or disable performance monitoring to determine whether performance monitoring statistics are recorded. The setting remains in effect until you restart the Collector. Restarting the Collector restores the default, which is set in the configuration file.
  • Refresh — Updates the table with the latest data.
  • Reset — Resets all the performance monitoring statistics.
  • Export to Excel — Allows you to save the current statistics to an Excel spreadsheet. This is useful for collecting performance data to help with support cases.
