Defining compliance-only service targets

Using a compliance only service target you can access data already processed by an external source. You can relate a compliance-only service target to an agreement and the processed data is used to evaluate the agreement compliance within the specified review period for the agreement.

Before you begin

Create a Action Request System form in Developer Studio to hold the data used for the calculation of agreement compliance. If the processed data is contained in a database table outside Action Request System, you can access it by way of a View form.

You can design the form according to your requirement, but it must contain the following field IDs to reference the database table fields:

Important

Compliance data sources are the only data sources that use View forms. For information about creating View forms and regular AR System forms in AR System, see View forms Open link .

Select the name of the AR System form in the Applies To field when creating the service target. Only Step 1 of the Service Target wizard is applicable to compliance-only service targets. You cannot set milestones or measurement criteria because the data has already been processed. You can only create milestones for the related agreements to react to the data in a review period.

The service target wizard allows you to define your service targets by specifying details about that service target.

For some types of service targets, the wizard contains four steps that allow you to input this information. For compliance-only service targets, there is only one step involved.

The following table describes fields in the Step 1 of 4 tab of the Service Target wizard:
