Canceling a problem investigation

If an investigation is not justified or is a duplicate of a current investigation, you might want to cancel it.

To cancel a problem investigation

  1. Open the problem investigation.
  2. Update the form, as appropriate.
  3. Select Canceled in the Status field.
  4. Select a status reason from the Status Reason list.
  5. Click Save.
