Uninstalling the Smart Hub and Smart Hub Gateway
You can uninstall the Smart Hub and Smart Hub Gateway using the uninstallation script.
Do the following to uninstall the Smart Hub:
- Log in to the system from where you want to uninstall the Smart Hub.
- (Windows) Log in as an administrator.
- (Linux) Log in as a root user.
- Navigate to the installation directory of the Smart Hub.
- (Windows) C:\Program files\BMC Software\SmartHub
- (Linux) /opt/bmc/smarthub
- Run the following command:
- (Windows) uninstall.bat
- (Linux) ./uninstall.sh
- Enter y to confirm uninstallation.
- Verify that the Smart Hub service is removed.
- (Windows) Run services.msc and verify that the Smart Hub service name is not available.
- (Linux) Check whether smarthub.service is removed.
NEW IN 20.02.01 Do the following to uninstall the Smart Hub Gateway:
- Navigate to the installation directory of Smart Hub Gateway.
- (Windows) C:\Program files\BMC Software\SmartHub_Gateway
- (Linux) /opt/bmc/smarthub_gateway
- Run the following command:
- (Windows) uninstall.bat
- (Linux) ./uninstall.sh
- Enter y to confirm uninstallation.
- Verify that the Smart Hub Gateway service is removed.
- (Windows) Run services.msc and verify that the Smart Hub Gateway service name is not available.
- (Linux) Check whether smarthub.gateway.service is removed.
