This documentation supports the 9.1 version of Remedy Single Sign-On.

Installing

After you complete the tasks to plan the installation of Remedy Single Sign-On, perform the following tasks to install Remedy SSO:

Before installing Remedy SSO, download the installation files and document your installation values, such as the database name, database type, etc.

Install Remedy SSO by using one of the available installation methods:

  • Install Remedy SSO by using the installation wizard
  • Install Remedy SSO silently
  • Install Remedy SSOby manually running the installation scripts

Verify the installation is successful by logging in to Remedy SSO Admin Console.

4(Recommended) When you install Remedy Single Sign-On server, the database password is encrypted with a hard coded key. For security reasons, BMC recommends to re-encrypt the database password with a new key after you perform a fresh installation of Remedy SSOConfiguring after installation
