Enabling AR System authentication for bypass

You can enable the AR System authentication for bypass if you want users to get authenticated with the AR System along with the external authentication. Users are authenticated against the AR System server when they log on with a special 'bypass-auth' parameter and bypass authentication is enabled using the following URL:

http://<host_name>:<port_number>/rsso/start?bypass-auth=true&tenant=&goto=<application_url>

Where,

<application_url> is the URL of the application that the user wants to access.

Before you begin

Ensure that you have obtained the following information from the BMC Remedy AR System admin:

  • Host name of the server where BMC Remedy AR System is installed.
  • Port number for BMC Remedy AR System.

To enable AR System authentication for bypass

  1. Click Test to verify the connections are working.

Host Host name of the BMC Remedy AR System server.
Port Port number for BMC Remedy AR System .
