Enabling AR authentication for bypass

As a Remedy Single Sign-On administrator, you can enable AR authentication to bypass an external authentication if you want end users to get authenticated against AR System. 

End users can be authenticated against AR System when they log in to applications protected by Remedy SSO with a special bypass-auth parameter.

Before you begin

Ensure that you have obtained the following information from the Remedy AR System administrator:

  • Host name of the server where Remedy AR System is installed.
  • Port number of the Remedy AR System.

To enable bypassing AR System authentication

  1. Click Test to verify the connection works.

When you have enabled AR authentication for bypass,  to get authenticated against AR System, end users must access their applications by using the following URL:  http://<host_name>:<port_number>/rsso/start?bypass-auth=true&tenant=&goto=<application_url>, where <application_url> is the URL of the application that the users want to access.
