Patch 1 for Service Pack 3 provides the following enhancements:
- Application domain conversion to lower case
- Changes to local user management authentication
- Order of SAML in an authentication chain
- Remedy SSO Agent - callback-url query parameter
- Structural changes to documentation
Application domain conversion to lower case
When you enter the application domain during realm configuration, the entered details are converted to lower case.
Changes to local user management authentication
As an admin when you configure local user management authentication:
- You cannot modify the login name and group (role) name after they are created.
- Login name is case insensitive.
Order of SAML in an authentication chain
From this release, SAML IdP can also be used at the beginning of an authentication chain in order to support groups fallback.
From this release, a callback-url parameter is introduced for Remedy SSO Agent. If callback-url parameter is present, the end user is immediately redirected by Remedy SSO server to the specified callback url after the completion of the logout process.
