Uninstalling

The uninstallation of Remedy Single Sign-On and other components cannot be performed by using the uninstall option. Hence, you must uninstall Remedy SSO and other components manually.

Perform the following steps to uninstall Remedy SSO:

  1. Stop the Tomcat server on which Remedy SSO is installed.
  2. Remove the <tomcat_folder>/webapps/rsso folder.
<tomcat_folder> is the directory path on the server where Tomcat is installed.
  3. Remove the <remedysso_installation_folder> folder.
<remedysso_installation_folder> is the directory path on the server where Remedy SSO is installed.
  4. Delete all Remedy SSO tables from the database.

Where to go from here

If you have BMC applications integrated with Remedy SSO, you must manually remove the integration between Remedy SSO from these applications.

To remove the integration of Remedy SSO from a BMC application, perform the manual integration steps in the reverse order. For information about how to remove integration, see Manually integrating Remedy SSO with BMC applications.

Thanks for your comment, Matthew Lee. We normally do not remove the files from the folder that you mentioned. Instead, please make sure you remove the remedysso_installation_folder folder (for Windows, the data related to the installed Remedy SSO version is stored here → C:\Program Files\BMC Software\Remedy Single Sign on).

      Regards,
