Deprecated features and components

Deprecated features may still be available in the product or service. However, they are no longer under active development and might be discontinued from the product in the future. We encourage you to plan and implement the recommended change.

Remedy Single Sign-On Launchpad

BMC plans to stop supporting the Remedy Single Sign-On Launchpad capabilities. This change will be effective when customers upgrade their Remedy Single Sign-On to version 22.2 or later. The Remedy Single Sign-On Launchpad capabilities will be superseded by BMC Helix Portal. BMC Helix Portal is a set of integrated BMC Helix products from a single, unified view for an improved end-user experience. Users can easily navigate between applications without the need for separate authentication or integration.

Remedy Single Sign-On installer

Post 20.02 release, Remedy Single Sign-On moved to containerized deployment of the application, which eliminated the need to use the Remedy Single Sign-On installer. BMC plans to deprecate the Remedy Single Sign-On installer in version 22.2 and later.
