Attribute summary
Attribute | Data type | Description |
---|---|---|
Active Maximum Transmission Unit | Number (15, 2) | The active or negotiated maximum transmission unit that the port can support. |
Auto Sense | Picklist | Specifies whether the port can automatically determine the speed or other communications characteristics of the attached network media. The following options are provided:
|
Full Duplex | Picklist | Specifies whether the port is operating in full duplex mode (carrying signals in both directions). The following options are provided:
|
Link Technology | Picklist | The link technology used by the network port. The following options are provided:
|
Maximum Speed | Number (15, 2) | The maximum bandwidth of the port (in bits per second). |
Network Address | Text (64) | The list of strings that specify the network addresses for the port. |
Permanent Address | Text (64) | The network address that is hard-coded into the port. This address can be changed by firmware upgrade or software reconfiguration. For an Ethernet port, the value consists of a MAC address separated by colons; for example, 00:1C:B3:09:85:15. |
Physical Description | Text (255) | Physical description of the port. |
Port Type | Picklist | The type of port, such as Ethernet, FDDI, and so on. The following options are provided:
|
Speed | Number (16, 2) | The current bandwidth of the port (in bits per second). For ports that vary in bandwidth or for ports whose speed cannot be accurately estimated, this field must contain the nominal bandwidth. |
Supported Maximum Transmission Unit | Number (15, 2) | The maximum transmission unit that the port can support. |
