Configuring Service Health settings

Service Health enables clients and staff members to view service outages in a dashboard. You must configure Service Health settings for the staff members and clients to view service health.

The service outage history is displayed in Self Service only. You, change managers, and staff members can view the service outage history saved for the past six months without any configuration.

  1. Click the Remedyforce Administration tab.
  2. On the Home page, click the Application Settings tile. From the menu select Service Health Settings and then select the options as required.

  3. When you select the Enable users to subscribe for email notifications on Service Outage updates check box, clients can choose to receive email notification for updates on service outages.
    In the email notification, the From address is always noreply@salesforce.com on behalf of the client who subscribed to email messages. The Service Health Update email template is used to send email notifications. 
  4. Click Save .
