Enabling a non-administrator user to approve the incident record

To enable a non-administrator user to approve the incident record, you must modify the settings for the workflow approval process.

  1. Log on to the BMC Remedyforce as an administrator user.
  2. Navigate to Setup > Create > Workflow & Approvals > Approval Processes.
  3. Select Incident from the Manage Approval Processes For picklist.
  4. In the Active Approval Processes section, click the required Approval Process Name.
  5. In the Final Approval Actions section beside Record Lock, click Edit.
  6. Select the Unlock the record for editing check box.
  7. Click Save.
