BMC_ConnectivitySegment

Stores information about endpoints of the same type (for example, Ethernet, fiber channel, or token ring) that can communicate without the assistance of bridging or routing services.

The type of endpoint. All endpoints, grouped by an instance of this class, must be of the same type.

The following options are provided:

  • Unknown
  • Other
  • Ethernet
  • TokenRing
  • FDDI
  • FC
CountNumber (18, 0)The number of endpoints in the group. The value 2 specifies that a direct connection exists between the endpoints.
FixedPicklist

Specifies whether the collection is fixed. The following options are provided:

  • Yes
  • No
Network IDText (64)The unique identifier for the network segment.
Other Type DescriptionText (255)The value of Other connectivity. When the value of Connectivity Type is set to Other (1), specify the type of connectivity supported by the group in this field. When the value of Connectivity Type is other than 1, set this field to NULL.
