Recording submission of a back-out plan

Best practice to record the submission and testing of the back-out plan is as follows:

  • Add Notes records in the Action History section of the change request with appropriate description, such as "Back-out plan submitted."
  • Attach required documents with the change request record in the Notes & Attachments section.
  • Enter the relevant information about the attachments in the Back-out Plan or Rollout Plan fields, such as "Back-out_plan.docx file attached with details of the back-out plan."
