Configuring a request definition online or offline

To show a request definition in Self Service or in BMC MyIT Administration Console, make the request definition online. If you want to update a request definition, make the request definition offline, update it, and then make it online.

  1. Click the Remedyforce Administration tab.
  2. On the Home page, click the Configure Application tile, and from the menu, select Request Definitions.
  3. Click the row of the request definition that you want to configure online or offline.
    To select multiple records, press the Ctrl key and click the required records. You can select multiple consecutive records by pressing the Shift key and clicking the first and last records of the consecutive records. Clicking a selected record clears it.
  4. Click , and select Make Online or Take Offline.
