Launching the Dell KACE console


You can launch the Dell KACE console to view the details of the records that have been imported from Dell KACE if your system administrator has imported data from Dell KACE.

In the Configuration Items List view, you can launch the console by clicking the Launch Dell KACE Console toolbar button (Remedyforce_UsersGuide-311.gif).

Note

This toolbar button appears in the Configuration Items List view only if the system administrator has enabled the Dell KACE setting on the Remedyforce Administration > Integrations > Dell KACE page.

This toolbar button is enabled if you select a record that has been imported from Dell KACE. The Assembly Id field of the selected record contains DELLKACE: prefix. 

You must enter your valid Dell KACE credentials in the Dell KACE Management Center page.

When you open a CI record in Dell KACE console, the Computer System View with consolidate data is displayed. However, when you open a Software CI record, only the details of the Software CI record is displayed.

 

Tip: For faster searching, add an asterisk to the end of your partial query. Example: cert*
