How search works in CMDB Manager list view
Search in CMDB Manager list view searches all CMDB records. Search is performed as phase search and the search term is searched in exact sequence. For example, if you are searching for John Doe, search results for John V. Doe and Johnny Doe are not shown.
All the fields of a configuration item record are searched, and not only the fields that are shown in the list view. However, fields of type Lookup Relationship and Formula, are not searched.
You can also search records that contain wild characters (such as /, #, $, %, -, and so on). For example, you can search for L-series Laptops.
Tip: For faster searching, add an asterisk to the end of your partial query. Example: cert*
