Db2 workload monitors

The Db2 workload monitors measure the following types of data about Db2 workloads:

  • Number and type of SQL calls made
  • Amount of buffer usage activity
  • Use of CPU time by a transaction
  • Lock activity and contention
  • Elapsed time for a transaction, Db2 processing, I/O operations, or lock or latch waits
  • Amount of Db2 transactions processed
  • Amount of parallel I/O for a transaction

Monitor names that have a # prefix means the monitor collects a count; an @ prefix means that monitor collects averages.
