Assigning roles and permissions
BMC Helix Multi-Cloud Broker provides the following user roles to manage access to various functionality:

To assign BMC Helix Multi-Cloud Broker user permissions
- As an administrator, log in to BMC Helix Innovation Studio.
- Click the Administration tab.
In the Settings pane, select Foundation Data > Manage People > Agents.
To add a new user and provide required permissions, click New and fill out the required fields.
To update permissions for an existing user, select the agent record and click Edit.
Click Access Details and add from the Functional Roles field, select the functional role you want to assign to the agent.
Additionally, for Multi-cloud service admin add the following details:
- Enable the Tenant Admin option.
From the Application Licenses field, select Innovation Suite User Named.
Note
You must also provide Administrator permission to the people record of the user.
Click Save.
Licensing
Licensing BMC Helix Multi-Cloud Broker enables you to:
- Control access to your application.
- Protect the intellectual property of your organization.
- Reduce management costs, and adhere to your organization's compliance policies.
To use BMC Helix Multi-Cloud Broker, a BMC administrator assigns an application license to a tenant. A tenant administrator need not assign individual licenses to users.
