Working with views and dashboards

A view is a set of data and graphical display items that convey information about the state of your data and its transmission at and through one physical object (or more than one physical object in the same queue manager).

A dashboard is a data and graphical representation of a logical type which in turn is an abstraction of parts of the entire transaction pathway selected especially for simultaneous monitoring and display.

The main difference between a view and a dashboard is that a view displays data in one physical object (or more than one physical object in the same queue manager) and a dashboard displays data in many physical objects simultaneously.
