JSON report overview
JSON reports contain field values of TAR, PAR, or LAR records. You can determine which records are included in the report by customizing the JCL and specifying the control cards for inclusion or exclusion.
The JSON format of the report enables you to:
Have a hierarchical structure for TAR, PAR or LAR data representation, accommodating complex relationships and nested information.
Directly use it in machine learning models, preserving relationships and context for accurate predictions and classifications.
Analyze selected field data on TAR, PAR or LAR records by using any JSON viewer or parsers.
Leverage the portability of the JSON formats to seamlessly integrate the data into various applications, including RESTful APIs, enhancing the versatility of your analysis.
You can receive the report by email only if the report's maximum record length is less than 1024 bytes. For longer reports, you can use FTP to export the data but must append the report file name with the .json extension.
