Explanation: No historical records were found on the trace directory for the product.

cmd request failed, see related messages

where cmd can be any one of the following:

Show trace

Show trace selection criteria

Show trace exception filters

Show detail trace options

Start TDIR

Stop TDIR

Reset TLDS

Free TLDS

Archive TLDS

Verify TLDS

Delete TDIR entry

Explanation: One of the above requests failed. The request is abandoned and this message is displayed to the user.

User response: Check the reason of the failure in the related message and take corrective action.

BBQQ2116W

The command, cmd, is not allowed in SSI mode

Where <cmd> can be any one of the following:

TSHOW - show trace attributes

START - start a trace

STOP - stop a trace

NEWDSNS - import TLDS into the trace directory

DELDSNS - delete TLDS entries

Explanation: One of the above requests failed. The request is ignored and this message is displayed to the user.

User response: Change the context to target mode and retry the command.

BBQQ2117W

No trace log data set entries found to delete

Explanation: A request to delete Trace Log data Set entries was specified via the DELETE primary action command from a history traces view but there were no entries found to delete. Either there is no Trace Directory allocated to the PAS or the Trace Directory is empty. The delete request is abandoned and this message is displayed to the user.

User response: Ensure that there are historical trace entries contained in the trace directory allocated to the PAS.

BBQQ2118W

The command is not allowed for user user

where command could be any one of the following values:

START - to start the trace directory

STOP - to stop the trace directory

DEL1DSN - to delete a single trace directory entry

DELDSNS - to delete multiple trace directory entries

ARCHIVE - to archive a trace data set

RESET - to reset a trace data set

FREE - to free a trace data set

Explanation: The History Traces view, HT, disallows this command if issued by a different user and the command is secured. The command is ignored.

User response: No action is required.

BBQQ2221W

Trace log dataset allocation parameters missing

Explanation: The trace request was not able to determine the default volume/s to use for the trace log dataset. The trace may end up in a quiesced state if the trace log dataset allocation was unsuccessful. The allocation messages are logged to the Journal.

User response: This message can be ignored for sites that have SMS rules in place for dataset names. For others, correct the parmlib member containing the trace defaults and retry the request.

BBQQ2222W

The command is not allowed for user user

where command could be any one of the following values:

MODIFY - to modify trace attributes

PURGE - to purge the trace

STOP - to stop the trace

SWITCH - to switch the trace log data set

QISLOG - to quiesce the trace log data set

Explanation: The Current Traces view, CT, disallows this command if issued by a different user and the command is secured. The command is ignored.

User response: No action is required.
