BMC AMI DevX Performance Test codes

We are committed to making products and services easier for everyone to use. This section provides information about the features that make Performance Test more accessible for people with disabilities. This section also applies to Performance Test's features and components.

Performance Test is a mainframe application designed to run on IBM’s z/OS operating systems, utilizing IBM’s ISPF on IBM 327x-type terminals. This platform offers few if any accessibility features in the mainframe environment referenced above. Due to this fact, BMC Compuware has focused its attention in regard to the accessibility of its mainframe products in the area of emulated 3270 sessions on personal computers (PCs) with Windows operating systems. Performance Test supports and/or does not disrupt, with few exceptions, Windows accessibility features and Windows-based Assistive Technology (AT) devices and software such as Braille devices, screen readers, and magnifiers.

Look for more information on accessibility features on our BMC Support website.

Warning

Important

Performance Test is a mainframe system development tool intended for use by mainframe systems software developers/programmers. Much of the input and output used and produced by Performance Test, such as program execution statistics, are not easily understood by the general public, nor are they intended to be. Unfortunately, as in the case of Performance Test reports, data/information in these formats by its very nature can be confusing to screen readers, and therefore to those who use them as well. Effective use of this application requires the specialized knowledge of a mainframe systems software developer/programmer.

The release of a user-generated default parameter table does not agree with the current Performance Test release.

You must apply the values of the previous default table to the current version of Performance Test. Do not copy the old table — it must be regenerated. Also, ensure that the correct table is being used. If you have further problems, contact BMC Support for assistance.

This is an unexpected return code from the VTAM CHECK macro. The VTAM subsystem may have terminated unexpectedly.

If the VTAM subsystem was still active at the time of the abend, report the problem to BMC Support. If the VTAM subsystem was not active, repeat the test while it is active.

An unknown VTAM request was made to the Performance Test SYNAD exit. This may be caused by the VTAM subsystem terminating unexpectedly.

If the VTAM subsystem was still active at the time of the abend, report the problem to BMC Support. If the VTAM subsystem was not active, repeat the test while it is active.
