Using product solution profile alarms

Some MainView products implement the solution profile list view from where you can create, delete, enable, and disable alarms.

For example, you can create a brand new alarm and maintain it from the MainView for z/OS product-provided solution profile list views (LPCKPL and MXCKPL).

Created alarm definition from the solution profile view can be browsed from PLEXMGR AMDPROF view. Currently issued alarm messages are displayed in the ALARMSPF or ALARMSZF views.

If the WTO option is enabled from the solution profile alarm:

• The WTO alarm message will be written.
• The MVS console command defined in the solution profile alarm will be executed as the START type alarm message is generated from this alarm.
