Forced file selection

Although the historical recorder selects the first historical data set to write to, you have control over the subsequent data sets that are selected for data recording by using line commands from the DSLIST view.

You can use these line commands to perform all historical database maintenance (with the exception of archival and retrieval of historical data sets).
