Selecting the metrics to be collected

To select the performance metrics that you want MainView Threshold Advisor to collect, you use the Manage MainView Recording Requests tool. This tool helps you create a metric recording request, which specifies:

  • MainView performance metrics that you want to collect

  • CDB server profile and target database in which to store the data

  • How frequently to transfer collected data to the CDB database (the population frequency)
