Implementing full-screen mode security

After you decide which resources to secure and create names for those resources based on your systems and targets, you can begin the task of implementing security.

To implement security for MainView full-screen mode products, you need to:

  1. Define a security class to your ESM for MainView resources.

  2. Identify the fully named resources to the security class.

  3. Grant or deny access to the resources.

  4. Activate security.

Note

The remainder of this topic describes how to implement full-screen mode security by using RACF as the ESM. If you use CA-ACF2 or CA-Top Secret as your ESM, refer to your product documentation for the equivalent tasks.
