Displaying a list of parameter definition members

You can display a list of the parameter definition members that reside in the BBSECURE security parameter library.

To display a list of parameter definition members

  1. From within Plex Manager, perform one of the following actions:
    • Use the EZSEC menu

      • On the COMMAND line, type EZSEC and press Enter.

      • On the EZSEC menu, position your cursor on Review Security Parms and press Enter.

    • On the COMMAND line, type SEPDEFL and press Enter.

    The SEPDEFL view is displayed.

    The default parameter definition member is BBMTSS00, and it appears on SEPDEFL with a member suffix of 00. For a description of any SEPDEFL field, place your cursor on the field and press the Help key. 


  2. To select a parameter definition member to be displayed, type S in the CMD field and press Enter. The SEPDEF view is displayed, as described in Displaying parameter definitions.

    Note

    The first time the SEPDEFL view is displayed, the Description field contains the following message:
    Empty member--Select to create

    When you select an empty member, the following message appears in the SEPDEFD view:
    BBMYA81E The parameter member BBMTSS00 is missing

    Disregard the message and press Enter to display the default security parameters.
