Assigning roles and permissions

Roles and permissions help you to determine the roles and responsibilities of your users, and let them perform their activities based on their roles. BMC Helix Multi-Cloud Broker provides the following user roles to manage access to various functionalities:

You can assign out-of-the-box roles to your users or create custom roles and assign them to your users.
To provide access to BMC Helix Multi-Cloud Broker users
The following table lists the actions that you need to perform to provide your users the access to the product:

Licensing
Licensing BMC Helix Multi-Cloud Broker enables you to:
- Control access to your application.
- Protect the intellectual property of your organization.
- Reduce management costs, and adhere to your organization's compliance policies.
To use BMC Helix Multi-Cloud Broker, a BMC administrator assigns an application license to a tenant. A tenant administrator need not assign individual licenses to users.
