Pre-start commands
Pre-start commands are EXECs or USS commands that are scheduled before the object starts.
Follow these guidelines when you define pre-start commands:
- Do not start an object that TOM manages.
- Each pre-start command can be scheduled only once.
- TOM waits for each command to complete and checks for a return code of 0 before scheduling the next command.
- You can use variables.
- You can specify schedule dependencies to control when TOM issues the command.
