Monitoring automation with the EXEC-driven Automation Reporter

This appendix explains how to activate the EXEC-driven Automation Reporter and how to set timed intervals and the data offload interval. The appendix also explains what the data looks like and how to read it.

Note

The windows-mode Automation Reporter application that was first supported in MainView AutoOPERATOR version 7.1 provides dynamic and interactive access to automation data that allows you to easily audit and monitor automation activities. For more information about the windows mode version of the Automation Reporter, refer to Using the windows-mode Automation Reporter applications.

To use the Automation Reporter application, you must implement and activate the REXX/370 Alternate library. For more information about implementing the REXX/370 Alternate library, refer to the MainView AutoOPERATOR Customization Guide.
