Deploying tagged items

It will invoke a series of dialogs that will send tagged items to another target (typically another TOMPLEX) without requiring exporting and importing the TOM registry. Deployment can be used to store definitions in a different sysplex or definition base in the local TOMPLEX registry or to send the definitions to a different TOMPLEX running on a remote sysplex.

If you deploy a set, only the set definition members are deployed. Object type members are not deployed. To deploy object members from a set, you can use definition base deployment.
