How MainView for Java Environments works

MainView for Java Environments discovers JVMs that are running in your z/OS environment. The product then collects CPU, IBM System Management Facility (SMF), and IBM Health Center data from the JVMs and displays the data in views.

You can also set up target profiles to collect Java Management Extensions (JMX) data for a JVM. For example, you can collect data about thread contention, memory-pool performance, and garbage-collection statistics.
