Adding trace data sets


Use the following procedure to add new trace data sets to the directory.

  1. On the HT view, type NEW on the COMMAND line.
  2. In the Create Trace Directory Entries dialog, enter the log data set name that you want to add to the directory.

    Note

    If you want to move a data set from them one system to another, specify the DSN only. The application automatically verifies each log DSN that you enter.

    The following figure shows a sample dialog that has been updated with three data sets to be added to the directory. The RESPONSE field shows the results of the processing after you press Enter.
