Hiding log records


To select the log record types that you do not want displayed on the log record list panels, use the Hide Log Records panel.

To access the Hide Log Records panel

  1. Enter the PREF command in the Command area or select the Preferences command from the Options action bar menu. The User Preferences window is displayed.
  2. Type s next to the Hide log records field to display the Hide log records panel as shown below.
  3. Enter a / next to the log record types to hide and press Enter.

Using the SHOW and HIDE commands to show and hide log records

  • HIDE command - In the command area, enter HIDE xx, where xx is a two digit hexadecimal number (01-FF) to hide the selected log record type, or enter HIDE ALL to hide all log record types.                            
  • SHOW command - In the command area, enter SHOW xx, where xx is a two digit hexadecimal number (01-FF) to show the selected log record type, or enter SHOW ALL to show all log record types.                             

 

Tip: For faster searching, add an asterisk to the end of your partial query. Example: cert*
