System requirements

The Live Chat 20.02 is available as a deployment package. You can download and deploy the deployment package from the BMC Electronic Product Distribution page. 

Software requirements

To deploy Live Chat version 20.02, you need the following software:

  • BMC Virtual Chat version 9.1.02
  • Action Request System version 20.02
  • Smart IT version 20.02
  • Remedy IT Service Management Suite version 20.02
  • Remedy Single Sign-On version 19.08 or later
  • Apache Tomcat 7 or later
  • To use live chat feature in BMC Helix Business Workflows, you require BMC Helix Business Workflows version 19.11 or later


Note

Customers who are using both Remedy with Smart IT and BMC Helix Business Workflows with Live Chat require only one instance of Live Chat that will run and cater to both the applications.

Supported browsers

You can use Self Service Portal in the following desktop browsers: 

  • Microsoft Internet Explorer 11 or higher
  • Microsoft Edge
  • Google Chrome (latest version)
  • Mozilla Firefox (latest version)
