Troubleshooting the installation

The Maintenance Tool can help you access logs to troubleshoot issues you have with the installer.

To find failures in the installation

  1. In the Maintenance Tool, click Install Log.
  2. Click the Severity column to sort the log entries by severity.
    Note the time stamp of a failure entry, and then sort by Timestamp to view the entries immediately preceding that failure in chronological order.
