Listed under the Article Management folder, the following reports are provided for BMC Knowledge Management.

This bar chart displays all of the articles, grouped by authors and further split by the status of article.
Article DetailsThis reports displays all articles with respective status. It includes details like submit date, submitter, title, company, assignee, and assignee group.
Article FeedbackThis report shows article by average feedback rating which helps to determine
the quality of its content.

Article Publish TrendTrend chart showing published articles created over time.
Article StatisticsPie chart with pre-configure drill down showing number of articles with
current status.
Top Level Company, Next Level Assigned Group, Next level Assignee
and Final Drill to Article Details.

Article Usage and Feedback SummaryThis reports shows number of times article opened for viewing and
quality of articles  by feedback ratings.

No Search Results for Knowledge ArticlesThis report shows details of searches that return no results for
knowledge articles (for last 12 months).
Use this report to identify knowledge gaps regarding missing
content in Knowledge Management.

Top 10 ArticlesTop 10 articles having maximum number of views.
Unpublished Articles StatusThis pie-chart shows the segregation of all
unpublished articles by status which can further
drill down to article details report.

Keywords Not FoundThis report shows details of searches that return no results for knowledge articles. Use this report to identify knowledge gaps regarding missing content in Knowledge Management.
Number of Currently Flagged Articles

The report shows you the number of currently flagged articles in each category. It provides the facility to drill through on the Number of Flagged articles to get more details about the currently flagged articles.


Number Of Flagged Articles - Detailed ReportThe report gives you details about the flagged articles.
Percentage of Tickets with Articles LinkedThe report shows number of incidents with articles linked and provides facility to drill through on Number of articles linked field to get more details about the incidents.
Percentage of Tickets with Articles Linked - Detailed ReportDetailed Report for Percentage of Tickets with Articles Linked.
Top N Scored Articles by Author

The report gives you top N articles based on its usage.


Top Searched Keywords

This report show list of keywords with the number of times it is searched.


To open knowledge articles in BMC Remedy with SmartIT

If you navigate to BMC Remedy Smart Reporting from BMC Remedy with Smart IT (SmartIT), click an Article ID hyperlink from BMC Knowledge Management reports, the article is not cross-launched in SmartIT. 

To open a knowledge article in SmartIT, create a  hyperlink object in BMC Knowledge Management reports or views with DocID field, and add the SmartIT URL to the field. For example, add

http://<SMART_IT_SERVER>:<PORT>/ux/smart-it/#/search/##/ to the DoCID field.
