Installing BMC Remedy ITSM in your server group

   Hello,

   I just need a bit more information on enabling FTS before installation:

   in my scenario I am installing the first server of a Server Group and so I am not sure if FTS should be enabled from now as Server Group as single server or as Server Group Indexer or Searcher

      Hi Vincenzo, 

      For a server group installation, you must enable FTS on the first server (primary server) as Server Group Indexer. On all the other servers, you must enable FTS as Server Group Searcher. 

      Please note, the FTS should be enabled as Server Group Indexer on the primary server. Also, the FTS opertions should be enabled for the FTS Server Group Indexer in the AR server group ranking form.

      Secondary server should not have FTS operation enabled in the server group ranking form.

   Hello again,

   my present choice is to install only Asset Management part and add additional pieces later.

   Installer was ok and everything is working but... InstallShield did not present me any choice about Multi-Tenancy Model described in this guide.

   Is it normal or am I missing something?

      Hi Vincezo, 

      All your applications have to be at the same version. So only after you upgrade all the required applications, you will get the option in the end when all the applications are at the same version.
